Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 24, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Clarity 5:1 ("Clarity 5:1," "we," "us") handles information in connection with the Clarity 5:1 platform and Clarity 5:1 AI, our connected business-assistant service (together, the "Service"). This policy is written in plain language and describes our current practices; it does not claim any particular certification or compliance framework beyond what is stated here.
1. Information you voluntarily provide
When you interact with the Service, you may voluntarily provide information such as your name, email address, and any messages, questions, or content you choose to submit. We use this information to respond to you and to operate the Service.
2. Account and authentication information
If you create an account or log in, we process the account and authentication details needed to identify your account and keep it secure (for example, an email address and credentials used to sign in). Beta access to the Clarity 5:1 platform is currently limited and access-controlled.
3. Connected-service data (Google Calendar, Drive, Gmail, and similar integrations)
Clarity 5:1 AI can optionally connect to third-party services, such as Google Calendar, Google Drive, or Gmail, when an account owner explicitly authorizes that connection through the applicable OAuth consent screen.
- We only request the specific permissions ("scopes") needed for the connected feature to work — for example, read access to calendar events, or read access to an approved set of documents.
- We access connected Google data only as authorized by the account owner who granted the connection, and only to provide the corresponding feature of the Service (for example, summarizing upcoming calendar events, or answering questions about approved documents).
- We do not use data obtained through Google APIs to serve advertisements, and we do not sell this data.
- Any use of information received from Google APIs is limited to providing or improving the specific features that require that data, consistent with Google's API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements, to the extent those requirements apply to the features involved.
- An account owner can revoke a connected Google integration at any time (see Section 8).
4. Operational and logging data
Like most online services, our systems generate operational data as part of normal operation — for example, request and error logs, timestamps, and basic technical details needed to run, secure, and troubleshoot the Service. We use this information to keep the Service running reliably and to diagnose problems.
5. How we use information
We use the information described above to: provide and operate the Service; respond to inquiries; maintain and troubleshoot the platform; and, where a connected integration has been authorized, provide the specific feature that integration supports. We do not use the categories of information described in this policy for purposes unrelated to operating and supporting the Service.
6. Data sharing and service providers
We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers who help us operate the Service (for example, hosting, email delivery, or infrastructure providers), solely to the extent needed for them to perform those functions on our behalf. We may also disclose information if required to do so by law or in a good-faith belief that disclosure is necessary to comply with a legal obligation.
7. Data retention and security
We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to operate the Service and for the purposes described in this policy. We take reasonable steps intended to protect information within our control, but as with any online service, no method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and we cannot promise a specific retention period or a specific technical security standard beyond what is stated here.
8. Your choices and revoking access
If you have connected a Google account to Clarity 5:1 AI, you can revoke that access at any time from your Google Account's third-party access settings, or by contacting us using the information below so we can assist. You may also contact us to ask questions about information we hold in connection with your use of the Service.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as the Service changes. We will update the "Last updated" date above when we do.
